Free Breeders' Cup Bet Offered at All Horse Racing
Friday, October 28th, 2005
BELMONT, NY. - The Breeders' Cup tops off the racing season with a celebration of the fastest sprinters, the top two-year olds and the best turf horses. To celebrate the 21st Breeders' Cup, All Horse Racing is offering a free bet on the day's final and richest race: the four million dollar Breeders' Cup Classic. In addition, new members will be treated to a twenty percent bonus on their first deposit.
"The Breeders' Cup is the racing season's end goal for many trainers and horses. It has also drawn a strong international following and has been described by some people as the equivalent of a Super Bowl for horse racing. This year we have seen 117 pre-entered thoroughbreds. Offering a free punt is a way for everybody to take part in the excitement of the race," commented Leonard Manley, Director of Marketing.
"Unlike so many organisations that offer 'free bets' with a litany of requirements, the free bets at All Horse Racing have been and will always remain risk free and straightforward. If you hear about a free $125 bet, you can be sure it comes with fine print," Manley added.
One of the free bets available at All Horse Racing asks the punter, will the winner of the 2005 Breeders' Cup Classic finish over or under 2:01 seconds? Last year, Javier Castellano rode Ghostzapper and crushed the field to win the Classic in a record time of 1:59:02 at Lone Star Park. Will this year's winner be faster at Belmont?
In the past month, several horses have been sidelined with injuries or health issues. With the winnowing of this year's field, picking a clear favorite has been challenging work especially with racing's darling Afleet Alex and strong Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Hurricane Run bowing out. The final fields for all of the races will be completed at next Wednesday's post-position draw.
"Saint Liam is on everyone's radar. Excellent horse, very impressive and steady in the crowd. Rock Hard Ten and Borrego are the other horses to watch out for -- all three might make a nice trifecta for the Classic," says Manley.
