Sportech Plc Directorate Change; Roger Withers Retiring from Company
The Board of Directors of Sportech PLC ("the Company") announce that Non-Executive Director, Roger Withers, is retiring from the Company with effect from the end of the month.
Roger Withers, 63, has been a senior Non-Executive Director of the Company since September 2000 and served as interim Managing Director from November 2004 until 27 September 2005.
The Board would like to thank him for his significant contribution to the Company, both in a Non-Executive and Executive capacity.
Mr Withers is currently non-executive Chairman of Arena Leisure Plc and holds a number of Non-Executive Directorships in the leisure and technology industries.
David Mathewson, Chairman, commented:
"Since Roger joined the Littlewoods business in 1999, he has been a key member of the management team, both as an Executive and Non-Executive Director. We would like to thank him for his considerable contribution and offer him our very best wishes."
