Omni Media is working in conjunction with world famous Binion's Casino, founded by Benny Binion, and passed on to his son Jack Binion, who hosted the first gambling tournament, The World Series of Poker in 1970, and is now bringing poker players a new venue poker tournament.

Binion's American Poker Player Championship!

The tournament will take place May 11th through May 24th, 2006, and feature 17 events and a $5,000 buy-in Championship. One of the events will be the Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) World Championship.

World Series of Poker Champion Tom McEvoy and two-time Ladies World Series of Poker Champion Susie Isaacs will be the tournament hosts.

Each event in the tournament will be limited to 1,000 players. Satellites will begin in August 2005 at casinos and card rooms throughout the United States, and in select online poker rooms.

'American Poker Player magazine'

Omni Media & Entertainment has also recently acquired Poker Planet magazine from Mary Burroughs Publication Design located in Sacramento, California, and renamed the publication American Poker Player magazine.

Mary Burroughs, who is also a qualified publisher of several Golf oriented publications that are distributed throughout California, will assume the position of President of American Poker Player magazine.

Final Table Challenge™
"Who wants to be a professional poker player?"

Also this fall, be looking for the exciting new TV series produced by Omni Media & Entertainment, and appropriately named, Final Table Challenge™.

This one hour show is a combination reality, TV/game show with a poker format, and live audience. Six poker players qualify by being selected at random from our web site. The 6 players will be given a buy-in of $3,000 each for a prize pool of $18,000. First place will pay $10,000, and 6th place will pay $500. The game takes place at Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The show will be hosted by TV star John Daly, who is the host of Real TV, and along with Susie Isaacs, two time women’s World Series of Poker champion, will be giving play-by-play commentary.
